Beginning

Hello Everyone!

As some of you know, I have recently received a summer job with Missoula Children's Theatre of Missoula, Montana. This is a new, exciting opportunity and I felt it would only be appropriate to keep my wonderful realm of family and friends updated!

I'll be working with MCT from May 31st to August 25th( I know--that's a long summer)! I'm thrilled the Lord has provided this--a new adventure--and I cannot wait to share my experiences! According to my contract with MCT, I'll arrive in Missoula on the 31st. Training(which will last 13 days) begins upon arrival. All of the Tour Actors( that's what I'll be called) will partake in the intense process of becoming an MCT employee. This means, for 13 fun, yet tedious days, I will learn how to direct/cast/organize a children's show. The home staff of MCT will educate the "newbies" thoroughly so that we will be prepared for the summer ahead. Each TA is assigned on Tour Partner. Together, the two Tour Actors will travel the countryside in a big, MCT F-150 truck. The two will alternate on driving, of course. ;) Also, each week, one TA will play the lead character in the children's show. Did I mention the nature of each show? Most likely, the TA and his/her partner will be directing something like "Snow White and the 7 Dwarves" or "The Princess and the Pea". Adorable, right?! I cannot wait.

This blogging business is foreign to me, so I apologize if my formatting is strange! I'm learning!
